We love making cookies that embody goodness! We also thrive on the feedback we receive and appreciate the kind words we hear back from our cookie deliveries. A deep bow of thanks to everyone who takes the time to help make us better.
After the busy spring, we wanted to share with our friends and clients a behind the scenes look at what is involved in making our unique gifts.
Suffice to say the making of a Better Cookies.ca gift takes time. We take care to make it special every step of the way! From the mixing of the dough in small batches to packaging and preparing the gift for delivery, we put in the effort to make each gift awesome.
What does that mean? One of our busiest days of the year is Valentine’s Day. So we took a look after Valentine’s Day to track the time it took us to make one of our individual gifts. While the time from start to finish varies between the cookie gift box, cookie gift basket, cookie flower bouquet, cookie jar and the giant cookie gram, here is what we found for a gift basket we delivered in Burlington, Ontario.
The making of a cookie gift basket
- Making the gourmet cookies in our unique way in small batches – 20 minutes
- Baking the cookies in the oven – 10 minutes
- Letting them cool – 1 hour
- Packaging them up with care – 14 minutes
- Giving thanks to our awesome couriers – 1 minute
From start to finish it takes us 45 minutes to create one of our iCare cookie gifts baskets and 1 hour and 45 minutes with cooling time. The giant cookie grams take even longer as we have to frost them and put on the custom inscription.
Every one is unique and made special.
So the next time you order from Better Cookies.ca, you’ll know that you are sending a gift made with care and deep respect. We are a small Canadian business, and our belief is that every order is important and deserves that special touch.
We recently heard back from two kind people who took the time to share what their gift recipient thought of the cookies.
My boy said it was the best cookie ever! Will definitely order from you again!
I did get to try it and it was yummy and soft.
We hope you all are enjoying the summer in the GTA. Walking the dog and going on a run is a great way to enjoy this season. The sun is shining and it is a great day.
Make it awesome!
